On day two, the course concludes with a guided visit to a fully operational AD plant, where theory meets practice. You will walk the site, meet the specialists, and see how best practice techniques translate into daily operations and measurable results.

Day 1: 17 September 2026

Day 2: 18 September 2026
  • Site visit: travel from Brussels to visit an AD plant.
  • A guided tour of the site from feedstock storage to the main operational units, with the opportunity to discuss with operators and plant managers and learn directly from real-life practice. Participants will also gain insight into the key decisions that this plant has made to control safety and risks and the production of its end products.
  • The day concludes with a Q&A session, providing an opportunity for discussion between participants, trainers and plant employees on practical situations, optimal performance, challenges in process disturbances, emerging technologies and controlling and optimising the production process and biomethane output.

Cancellations made up to 2 weeks before the start of the training are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the training date are not refundable. However, the full amount paid will be issued as a credit valid for 12 months, which can be applied to any upcoming course.
