Annika Björn is an associate professor at the Department of Thematic Studies – Environmental Change at Linköping University and at the Biogas Solutions Research Center in Sweden. She has long experience in optimising and developing biogas processes from chemical, physical, microbial and technological points of view. She focuses on novel operational strategies for enhanced, stable, flexible and sustainable biogas production, improved digestate quality and potential for adding new values to biogas production systems.
